- •Amazon released autonomous agents for Amazon Quick that handle continuous business tasks without human input.
- •The update introduces 16 new app integrations and 30+ pre-built skills for sales, finance, and marketing workflows.
- •Users can now perform cross-system data analysis and build web applications using natural language queries in Quick.
Amazon launched new autonomous agent capabilities for Amazon Quick on June 17, 2026, allowing users to automate tasks continuously across enterprise applications. These agents can be built in minutes using natural language instructions or selected from a pre-configured library. Users maintain control through defined guardrails, while the agents manage repetitive workflows such as flagging stalled deals, drafting follow-ups, and summarizing regulatory changes. The system learns from user interactions, with each subsequent correction designed to improve agent performance over time.
The update also includes an enhanced activity feed that consolidates communications from email, Slack, and calendars into a single, prioritized view. This feature automatically generates summary cards, drafts replies, and prepares meeting talking points based on user work patterns. To support these integrations, Amazon added 16 new connectors this week, including Adobe, Cisco Webex, Figma, Google Chat, Shopify, Snowflake, WhatsApp, and Zapier. Users can access a catalog of 30+ ready-made skills covering sales, finance, and marketing functions.
Amazon Quick now allows users to query multiple disparate data systems simultaneously using natural language. The service joins information in real time across different platforms—such as Salesforce, Databricks, and planning spreadsheets—to provide immediate answers in the form of interactive dashboards or synthesized reports. Applications created within the environment can be published and shared as web apps without requiring traditional coding. The platform is currently available for Plus users, while Professional and Enterprise customers have access via a gated preview.
Security remains a core focus, with the system utilizing existing AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) protocols. These measures ensure that data access remains consistent with corporate permissions, providing audit trails and action-level controls for administrators. The service is available for sign-up on the Amazon Quick AI Assistant page, allowing organizations to maintain compliance while automating cross-system processes.
