3. Registration & Withdrawal

  • Users may register via SSO (Google, GitHub, Discord, KakaoTalk, etc.) or email.
  • Children under the age of 14 may not register for an account.
  • Members may request withdrawal at any time by contacting support@aib.vote; personal data will be deleted without delay. However, payment and contract records that applicable law requires us to keep are retained for the period prescribed by that law.
  • If you close your account while subscribed, the subscription is cancelled at the same time, and the remaining period is handled under Article 10.
  • Accounts registered with false information may be restricted.
  • When logging in via an external service integration, an authentication token (access token) is transmitted to that external service. The list of integrated services is provided at the time of login.

4. User Content & AI Usage

  • You retain the rights to content you upload, enter, or create in the Service (“User Content”). Output you create using AI features is also User Content, and we claim no separate rights in it.
  • We use User Content only for the purposes listed under “How we use User Content” below. For any other purpose, we give you notice in advance and obtain your consent.
  • Prompts you enter in the AI comparison service and the AI responses generated from them are stored for model performance evaluation and ranking, and may be used in anonymized form for AI model comparison research.
  • Answers you give in the AI recommendation questionnaire (purpose, current AI services, budget, etc.) are stored in your member profile to personalize content recommendations.
  • If you create a result share link, anyone who has the link can view that content without signing in. Whether to share is your decision, and you can request that sharing be stopped at support@aib.vote.
  • Content you post in areas that are public by design — AI community posts and comments, the gallery, and similar — can be viewed by anyone, including non-members, and may be indexed by search engines.
  • We may hide or delete User Content that violates applicable law or Article 5 (User Obligations), and we tell you the reason after doing so.

How we use User Content

  • Processing required to operate the Service — delivery, display, storage, and backup
  • Evaluating AI model performance and calculating rankings (popularity charts)
  • Statistical analysis to improve service quality
  • Detecting abuse such as fraudulent use and vote manipulation, and responding to security incidents
  • Research use of anonymized data and publication of the results

We do not use User Content beyond these purposes; where we need to, we give notice in advance and obtain consent. Processing entrusted to service providers is governed by the Privacy Policy.

AI Training

  • User Content is used for AI training only with explicit prior consent (opt-in).
  • All data used for AI training is de-identified (anonymized).
  • You may withdraw consent (opt-out) at any time; withdrawn data will be excluded from training datasets.
  • If the purpose of AI training changes, we will notify you and request renewed consent.

Upon account deletion, anonymized data that cannot identify individual users may persist. Identifiable data will be deleted without delay.

5. User Obligations

  • Do not misuse others' information; provide accurate information.
  • Do not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use Service content without authorization.
  • Do not interfere with Service operations.
  • Do not manipulate votes in the AI model comparison service, submit false votes, or attempt to manipulate leaderboard rankings.
  • Do not circumvent service usage limits (request quotas, rate limits, etc.) or use automated tools for malicious access.

6. Intellectual Property

Copyright for content published on the Service (text, images, design, etc.) belongs to AIB or the original creator. Personal, non-commercial viewing and citation for learning purposes is permitted with proper attribution.

7. Disclaimer

  • The Service provides AI-related information and does not substitute professional legal, medical, or financial advice.
  • We are not responsible for content on external linked sites.
  • We are not liable for service interruptions due to force majeure.

8. Service Changes & Termination

We may modify or terminate the Service with prior notice. Significant changes will be communicated via website or email.

9. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall be governed by applicable laws. For users in Korea, the competent court is determined under the Korean Civil Procedure Act; for users in Japan, under Japanese law; for users in the United States, applicable state laws apply.

10. Subscription

  • The subscription service is currently offered only within the Republic of Korea, and is billed in Korean won (KRW).
  • A subscription is a monthly flat-rate plan. During the subscription period you may use the AI features of AIB and connected apps within the usage allowance of your plan.
  • Plan types and prices are shown on the subscription page within the Service. Prices shown are the final amount charged, inclusive of VAT.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically on the billing date each month. We obtain your separate consent to automatic renewal, and you may change that consent at any time.
  • At least 14 days before each automatic renewal, we notify you by email or in-service notification of the upcoming renewal, the amount to be charged, and the payment method.
  • If we raise prices or reduce the usage allowance, we will give notice at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not agree to the change, you may cancel before the next billing date.
  • You may cancel at any time directly from the subscription management screen in the Service. Cancellation is not made more complex or more difficult than signing up.
  • When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and automatic renewal stops after that.
  • If you request immediate cancellation during a subscription period, we refund the remaining amount after deducting the portion corresponding to the days already used.
  • You may withdraw your subscription within 7 days of the billing date. However, if you used AI features during that period, withdrawal may be limited for the portion already used, in accordance with Article 17 of the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
  • Refunds arising from withdrawal or cancellation are processed within 3 business days of the triggering event, using the same payment method you used. If the same method cannot be used, we notify you in advance.
  • The usage allowance included in your plan is renewed on each billing date. Unused allowance does not carry over to the following month.
  • Separately from subscriptions, any credits you purchased previously remain usable until they expire (5 years from the date of purchase), and you may request a refund of unused credits at any time. Credits granted free of charge are not eligible for refund.
  • Billing, refund, and cancellation inquiries: support@aib.vote

11. Payments by Minors

  • A minor (under the age of 19 in Korea) must obtain the consent of a legal guardian before paying for a subscription.
  • A payment made by a minor without a legal guardian’s consent may be cancelled by the minor or the guardian. Cancellation may be limited where the minor paid using property the guardian permitted them to dispose of, or where the minor used deception to be believed of age, as provided by the Civil Act.
  • Cancellation requests are accepted at support@aib.vote and the payment is refunded after verification.

Revision History

DateSummary of Changes
2026.09.06Clarified storage of AI feature inputs and outputs — Article 1 (automatically collected data) now states that the questions and prompts you enter in AI Compare, Cross-Check, and the AI assistant, and the answers the AI models generate, are stored whether or not you are logged in (Cross-Check previously kept only sessions you saved with the save button; it now follows the same rule as the other AI features). The purposes are service improvement, misuse investigation, and revisiting your history; retention and deletion follow Article 3
2026.09.01Added newsletter open and click collection — to manage delivery quality (confirming that emails actually arrive and stopping delivery to addresses that show no engagement over a long period), we collect whether an email was opened, whether links were clicked and which page path was clicked, and a classification of the opening environment (mail app, image proxy, security scanner). Raw IP addresses and browser information are not stored — only the classification result — and these records are deleted when you unsubscribe
2026.08.31Identification of the contracting party — the corporate name "AIB Inc." now appears in Article 1 (Purpose) and in the opening of the Privacy Policy (previously only the service name "AIB"). No change to users’ rights or obligations
2026.08.25Transition to monthly subscriptions — Article 10 fully rewritten from “Credits” to “Subscription” (offered in Korea only, automatic renewal with notice 14 days in advance, 30 days’ notice of price changes, cancellation directly in the Service, pro-rated refund on mid-term cancellation, 7-day withdrawal with refund within 3 business days, no carry-over of unused allowance); new Article 11 (Payments by Minors); Article 2 (Services) fully rewritten to match everything currently offered (adding the AI assistant, agents, community, search, events, research and reviews, surveys and coupons, and other omissions); Article 4 (User Content and Use of AI) updated with the allocation of rights in AI-generated output, the five limited purposes for which we use User Content, and notices covering result share links and publicly posted areas; Article 3 updated with the under-14 registration bar, handling of account closure while subscribed, and the statutory-retention proviso; Article 9 jurisdiction changed to follow the Civil Procedure Act. The Privacy Policy adds subscription billing to the collected items and processing purposes, states that AIB does not store payment instrument details, and specifies the statutory retention periods for transaction records (contracts and withdrawal 5 years, payment and supply 5 years, consumer disputes 3 years, advertising 6 months). Credits purchased previously remain usable and refundable until they expire (5 years from purchase)
2026.08.12Added AI assistant conversation and automatic profile extraction to collection items (method, purpose, and retention specified); added file attachments, speech transcription, and generated images to collection items; added transcription processor (Soniox) and seven AI model processors (FriendliAI, Upstage, Sakana AI, xAI, BytePlus, Anthropic, Perplexity); clarified retention of conversations used for AI model comparison (A/B); corrected behavioral analytics retention (90-day auto-deletion → until account deletion); clarified the erasure request path for retention periods
2026.04.14Added AI Arena data collection items, AI Recommendation quiz data collection, behavioral analytics (user_events) collection and retention notice, location cookie notice, cookie classification (essential/functional/analytics), AI service providers (OpenAI, OpenRouter, Cloudflare) added, vote manipulation prohibition added
2026.03.16Added Credit System (Article 10), external app login notice, service usage tracking items, payment processor (Stripe) added
2026.02.18Initial publication
