MSI unveiled its MEG Vision X2 AI+ gaming desktop at Computex 2026, featuring a unique holographic avatar of the company's dragon mascot, Lucky. This interactive mascot is housed within a front-mounted cylinder known as the AI Holostage, which uses projection technology and a vertical panel to display a 3D hologram of the character. Users interact with the agent through voice queries or text, with Lucky acting as the face of the system's new agentic AI capabilities, branded as LuckyClaw.

Technically, the MEG Vision X2 AI+ is built with high-end hardware, including up to an Intel Arrow Lake Refresh Core Ultra processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card, with support for DDR5 memory and PCI Express 5.0 SSDs. The avatar functions as a physical interface for an agentic AI (a system capable of completing tasks autonomously through reasoning) specifically trained on MSI's Computex 2026 product lineup. In early demonstrations, the character could provide detailed specs and insights on MSI's monitor offerings, although it struggled with general knowledge queries, such as weather updates or sports results.

MSI notes that the LLM driving the mascot is designed to stay focused on MSI-specific information, politely redirecting users back to technical queries when prompted outside its scope. While the system shows a slight delay while processing, the avatar runs entirely locally on the desktop’s internal hardware. Pricing and regional availability have not yet been announced for the MEG series tower, which aims to provide an interactive centerpiece for gaming setups.
