Grok Imagine Video is xAI's video generation API model, released in January 2026, that lets developers integrate Grok's video generation directly into their applications. It debuted at first place on Artificial Analysis Video Arena in both text-to-video and image-to-video categories, surpassing Runway Gen-4.5, OpenAI Sora 2 Pro, and Google Veo 3.1. It generates clips up to 15 seconds with native audio — dialogue, sound effects, and background music synchronized to visuals — and supports text-to-video, image-to-video, and video editing through natural language prompts.
