  • •Keynote, Pages and Numbers gain AI assistants and MCP links to external tools.

Apple announced an update on the 27th to Apple Creator Studio, its subscription service that includes Final Cut Pro for video editing, Logic Pro for music production, Keynote, Pages and Numbers. It will be available through the App Store starting in November, and existing subscribers can use it free. New subscriptions cost ¥1,780 per month or ¥17,800 per year.

MotionVFX will be integrated directly into Final Cut Pro, adding templates, graphics, titles and transitions, along with tools for rotoscoping (isolating an object in video), tracking and color grading. Integration that lets users open Pixelmator Pro from Final Cut Pro will also be improved. Pixelmator Pro’s “Generative Fill” is an AI feature that edits images based on a user’s description and adjusts them to match surrounding lighting, perspective and texture.

The Mac version of Logic Pro will gain an intelligent assistant combining models built by Apple with OpenAI. It can guide users through production steps, help start a song or set up a vocal track from a single prompt. A redesigned browser will bring loops, instruments and effect patches together in one place.

Keynote, Pages and Numbers will also gain intelligent assistants that understand document context and help with tasks. In Pages, users can draft documents, change their structure and adjust wording. In Numbers, they can calculate, visualize and organize data, view previews with one tap, get chart suggestions and create custom tables. MCP support will let external AI agents and tools read and edit content in all three apps directly and perform automated actions.

The three apps’ content hubs will add visuals for presentations, reports and spreadsheets, along with new designed templates and themes for subscribers. Keynote will also support Keynote Interchange Format (.keyx), an open, JSON-based bundle format. The assistants in all three apps are in beta. They require Apple Intelligence to be enabled on a device running iOS 27, iPadOS 27 or macOS 27 or later. They are currently available only in U.S. English.
