Asda and Rokt announced a partnership to show customers relevant offers at checkout across Asda’s online grocery business and George, its clothing and home brand. The UK grocer uses Rokt Pay+ on the payment page and Rokt Thanks on the order confirmation page to create a retail media revenue stream at the point of purchase, while customer conversion remained unchanged. Rokt uses AI to select a relevant next action for each customer in real time on both pages.

Asda launched Rokt Thanks on George’s order confirmation page in January 2025, then added Rokt Pay+ to the payment page and expanded both products across online grocery. After Pay+ was added, Rokt revenue on George more than doubled; Pay+ now accounts for 51% of Rokt revenue on George and 36% across Grocery and George. Rokt revenue on Asda’s grocery business grew 72% year on year, based on a 30-day comparison. Customer conversion (uCCr) was unaffected across both businesses.

Asda Vice President of Customer Data and Loyalty Chris Chalmers said the company approached checkout deliberately and that the results showed it could make the experience more relevant while creating value for the business. Rokt SVP of Strategic Partnerships Courtney Hopkins described the payment page as a high-intent ecommerce moment that had historically been largely untapped, and said Asda was demonstrating a way to improve the customer experience while creating incremental value. Rokt expects its network to power more than 13 billion transactions in 2026 across thousands of ecommerce businesses. It generated more than $800 million in revenue in 2025. The announcement follows Rokt partnerships with PayPal, Fanatics, Ulta Beauty, Cineplex, Albertsons and Macy’s, and acquisitions of Canal, mParticle and Aftersell.
