Conga announced a wave of AI product updates at Conga Connection in Amsterdam, led by a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects live Conga data to Claude, Microsoft Copilot and other compatible assistants. Users can ask about contracts, quotes and obligations without opening Conga. The company also expanded its AiMe AI layer across the Advantage Platform, added AI-powered forecasting to Price Optimization and Management, and introduced contract lifecycle management (CLM) capabilities. Conga CEO Dave Osborne said the launches support the company’s open platform strategy and are intended to help customers move faster, make decisions with confidence and improve buyer experiences.
The MCP server connects assistants directly to the Conga Advantage Platform for real-time insights. Conga gave examples: a CFO can ask Copilot which contracts expire in the next 90 days; a legal operations lead can ask Claude what changed in a contract amendment; and a sales representative can check a quote’s approval status and send an agreement for signature. AiMe provides a conversational interface across contracts, quotes, pricing and documents. Its more than 90 tools and 19 skills can help users find information and automate multistep workflows without switching screens. Conga says AiMe keeps each customer’s data secure and isolated.
An October product release adds five AI capabilities to Conga CLM, which legal and contracting teams use to manage agreements from drafting through signatures and renewals. Redline reviews contract language during negotiations, recommends clauses based on the organization’s negotiation history and flags risk by severity. A related capability compares executed contract language with approved standards across a portfolio to surface changes in negotiated positions. Search supports follow-up questions, AI-generated summaries and complex queries; Compliance Screening checks for GDPR, HIPAA and sanctions exposure during redline review; and Clause Library Builder converts existing Word templates into a searchable clause library. Conga CLM and Conga Contracts for Salesforce also support Salesforce MCP, allowing users to create, review, negotiate, sign, publish and manage contracts through natural-language requests in Salesforce.
Conga added an integration with legal AI provider GC AI for contract management, and an integration with SAP Ariba that creates a Conga CLM contract when a sourcing event is awarded, then publishes signed agreements back to the Ariba workspace. The Ariba integration works regardless of which e-signature tool was used.
Price Optimization and Management now offers AI-powered business forecasting and planning for demand, cost, revenue, volume, capacity and utilization. CPQ expands deal-level pricing guidance to large quotes with hundreds of lines, applies pricing policy and margin checks, and calculates rebates line by line in real time so sellers can see their effect on expected margin. Document Automation adds an AiMe Template Generator that turns Word documents and JSON data into online templates and creates merge fields automatically. Solution Manager adds guided steps to build, manage and deploy document-generation workflows.
