CrowdStrike Buys Two AI Security Firms
  • •CrowdStrike acquired Fiddler AI and Dreadnode and launched an AI Kill Switch in Falcon Guardian
  • •Fiddler AI brings agent evaluation and monitoring; Falcon Observe is expected later this fiscal year
  • •The Kill Switch can terminate misbehaving agents, cut network access and prevent them from running again

CrowdStrike said on November 3, 2026, that it acquired Fiddler AI, an agent observability platform, and Dreadnode, an automated testing company, and launched an AI Kill Switch in Falcon Guardian. The two acquisitions add tools for monitoring and testing AI agents to CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform and AI Detection and Response portfolio.

Fiddler AI will add pre-deployment evaluation, continuous agent explainability and behavior monitoring. CrowdStrike plans to sell it as part of Falcon Observe, which is scheduled to become generally available later this fiscal year. CEO George Kurtz said companies and their boards or regulators need to know what agents did; he called Fiddler “the flight recorder for every agent,” providing observability to explain what an agent did and why.

Dreadnode adds automated AI security testing to CrowdStrike’s AI Detection and Response portfolio. The company also said its AI Kill Switch in Falcon Guardian can terminate an agent where it runs, cut off its network access and block it from running again if it breaks its intended behavior. CrowdStrike’s announcement links the acquisitions and kill switch to securing AI agents.
