Cynario launched Polli, a real-time AI policy coach available through its Cynario Insights Pro platform, to help mortgage lenders compare policies and assess where unclear criteria may be affecting business. The tool is aimed at lender policy, product and credit teams. It combines an analytics dashboard with a live chat interface, through which lenders can examine policy performance and receive recommendations for possible improvements.

Polli continually analyses a lender’s policy criteria against market sentiment, conditions and trends across the mortgage landscape. Users can explore policy optimisation strategies, identify gaps for investigation, estimate how ambiguous criteria affect deal volumes, and consider ways to improve market visibility. Cynario says lenders previously lacked visibility into how their policies performed across the industry and how policy friction could translate into lost deal volume and market share.

Cynario says Polli is intended to address traditional policy guides built around manual PDF searches, email distribution and web portals. The company says these formats could affect how clearly and accurately lenders’ criteria are understood internally and through broker-led research as AI changes how policy information is found and interpreted. Polli is designed to help lenders identify where policy wording could improve and how changes might affect the business they attract. Cynario says the platform could reduce rework for credit teams, improve policy clarity and show lenders opportunities to grow market share.

CEO and co-founder Michael Richardson called Polli an application of agentic AI focused on lender performance. He said lending policy shapes broker confidence, application quality, credit-team rework, service-level agreement time frames and customer outcomes. Richardson added that small clarity improvements can build into stronger policy performance, greater lender visibility and increased deal volume, and said Polli was built to help lenders move from reacting to the market to leading it.

Polli follows other Cynario announcements: in August, the company launched an automated client review tool for brokers; in June, it unveiled two AI tools for lender policy research and marketing automation. Cynario also announced a partnership with CRM developer Salestrekker to create an AI-powered tool that audits loan files in real time when they are lodged.
