  • •Fairview Health Services and hellocare.ai announced an enterprise virtual care partnership covering inpatient settings and NICUs.
  • •Fixed room devices and mobile carts will support virtual nursing, telehealth, patient observation and remote clinical consultations.
  • •The NICU platform lets authorized families see babies remotely and enables specialists to consult with bedside care teams.

Fairview Health Services and hellocare.ai announced an enterprise partnership on November 5 to expand virtual care across Fairview’s inpatient settings, including a dedicated NICU deployment connecting patients, families and care teams. Fairview is deploying hellocare.ai’s AI-assisted virtual nursing and telehealth module and AI-assisted virtual sitting through fixed intelligent room devices. Mobile carts will extend telehealth access wherever virtual clinical support is needed. The systems let remote clinicians connect with patients and bedside teams, support virtual nursing, expand patient observation and provide on-demand telehealth across the hospital.

Fairview is also deploying hellocare.ai’s NICU module for family visits, baby observation and virtual consultations across its NICUs. Authorized family members can securely connect with and see their babies remotely when they cannot be at the bedside. Specialists and other care team members can use the platform to consult remotely with NICU bedside staff and collaborate on patient care. Fairview executive Sameer Badlani said the broader virtual care infrastructure brings clinical expertise closer to the bedside and supports exploring digital technology and AI to improve care. Nursing executive Darlene Spiegelberg said the NICU service helps families stay connected and strengthens collaboration among bedside nurses, specialists and care teams.

hellocare.ai describes its enterprise platform as combining virtual nursing, telehealth, virtual sitting, AI-assisted patient observation and specialized clinical workflows in one system designed to fit existing hospital operations. CEO Labinot Bytyqi said the partnership spans inpatient rooms and the NICU, where remote access can keep families involved in their baby’s care when they cannot be physically present. Fairview said the deployment is part of its investment in digital care models to support clinicians, improve patient and family experiences and expand access across its health system. hellocare.ai says it supports more than 100 health systems in the United States and is expanding globally; its platform also includes patient engagement, digital whiteboards and room signage, ambient documentation and Hospital at Home.
