James Yang and Anish Paleja, two 18-year-old founders from Ontario, Canada, skipped their high school graduation to participate in the Founders Inc. Off Season II accelerator in San Francisco. The pair first met at a Major League Hacking event at age 15 and have since transitioned from learning to code to launching their startup, Brevitas.

At Brevitas, Yang and Paleja focus on improving token efficiency for multi-agent systems, aiming to reduce costs associated with AI workflows. According to Yang, current systems often suffer from waste during communications between agents or between humans and agents. Since joining the accelerator six days ago, the founders claim to have achieved six months' worth of development progress. The duo remains active in the hackathon circuit, having attended 14 and 36 events respectively in the last year.
