Genspark Launches TeamBrain for Enterprise Knowledge
  • •Genspark launches TeamBrain to organize company documents and email for shared use by AI agents.
  • •Genspark partners with KDDI Biz Edge to support adoption and sustained use among small and midsize businesses nationwide.
  • •The partners plan to launch Mobile Work AI in January 2027, enabling workers to create and share work from smartphones.

Genspark began offering TeamBrain on November 5, 2026, as a knowledge platform that uses AI to organize scattered company documents, email, and meeting minutes for shared reference by multiple AI agents. It is available to customers on the Enterprise plan. Genspark also formed a strategic partnership with KDDI Biz Edge to promote AI adoption among small and midsize businesses in Japan.

In July, Genspark announced AI Workspace 6.0, built around SecondBrain, which remembers personal email and documents; AgentBase, which puts companies’ structured data to work; and GenTeam, where people and AI agents collaborate. The company says AI agents can handle research and document creation so people can focus on final decisions and checks. It also said that improving individual productivity alone does not raise productivity across an organization.

Company knowledge and know-how can be scattered among employees and systems, leaving only certain employees aware of the background to decisions or the criteria used. Genspark says organizing data before adopting AI has sometimes taken six months to one year. TeamBrain proposes letting AI organize information while work continues, instead of completing the organization first.

When companies connect email, chat, meeting minutes, and various SaaS applications to Genspark, AI reads, classifies, and structures their content into shared knowledge. Users do not need to set detailed tags or classification rules in advance, and the system also takes in information generated day to day. Its process has three stages—ingestion, organization, and use. The first two run in the background, and people or AI agents can consult the information when needed.

Beyond internal search, TeamBrain can use stored knowledge to create documents and manuals, check consistency with work rules, and run simulations before audits. If AI detects contradictions between documents, it asks a person to decide. The expected operating model has a small group of staff managing shared information while many employees use it, rather than asking everyone to manage knowledge.

An enterprise management console can restrict what information users and AI agents may access, access to specific data or folders, and which AI models may be used. TeamBrain also supports integration with corporate authentication systems and access policies. Work data is generally managed in the cloud rather than stored on devices such as smartphones. AI organizes the information, while the company controls what is shared and with whom.

KDDI Biz Edge will support Genspark sales, implementation, and sustained use among small and midsize businesses nationwide. Under the name Mobile Work AI, the partners aim to let workers instruct AI agents from smartphones without opening a computer, then create and share daily reports, estimates, and other reports. The target users include workers in construction, logistics, care services, stores, and sales, whose jobs often take them into the field or on the move, making it hard to set aside time to use AI on a computer.

Mobile Work AI will keep AI agents and work data in the cloud, while users submit requests by voice or chat from smartphones. The partners envision access through the Genspark mobile app as well as LINE WORKS, Slack, Google Chat, and Microsoft Teams. KDDI Biz Edge President Takayuki Ochiai said labor shortages are worsening among small and midsize businesses, which also lack specialists able to implement and operate AI. He said the company plans to draw on its nationwide customer base and experience providing mobile and communications services to support companies until the tools are used in day-to-day work.

The partnership’s work is scheduled to begin in January 2027, and the companies have opened a dedicated website. They plan to jointly develop solutions tailored to industries and occupations including sales, construction, real estate, retail, care services, logistics, and staffing.
