Google said on Aug 18, 2026 that students preparing for the SAT can take full-length, on-demand practice SAT tests in the Gemini app at no cost by telling Gemini, “I want to take a practice SAT test.” The company said Google Trends data shows “SAT prep,” “SAT prep websites,” and “SAT preparation classes near me” became breakout Google searches over the past three months.

The practice tests, launched earlier this year, use rigorously vetted content from The Princeton Review, according to Google. Google said the material is intended to more closely resemble what students will see on test day.

After a student completes a practice test in Gemini, the app gives immediate feedback on where the student excelled and where more study may be needed. Google said students can also ask Gemini to explain the correct answer for anything they do not understand.
