GPT-6 Sol Leads Expanded Cyber Index
- •Artificial Analysis expanded its Cyber Index to include trusted-access models with fewer cyber guardrails.
- •GPT-6 Sol (Daybreak Blue, max) leads the index, scoring 32 points above public GPT-6 Sol (max).
- •Daybreak Blue costs $1.77 per task; its largest gains over public GPT-6 Sol were on CyberGym-E2E.
Artificial Analysis expanded its Cyber Index on October 8, 2026, to include trusted-access AI models with fewer cyber guardrails, alongside publicly accessible models. The index, run by the Artificial Analysis Cyber Index Alliance and industry partners, evaluates models on enterprise cyber defense tasks. Its first trusted-access entry is GPT-6 Sol (Daybreak Blue, max), available only through OpenAI’s Daybreak program.
GPT-6 Sol (Daybreak Blue, max) now leads the index and sits on its Cost vs. Capability Pareto frontier, a set of options where no alternative is both cheaper and more capable. It recorded no safety blocks across the full index, and its overall score was 32 points higher than publicly available GPT-6 Sol (max).
At $1.77 per task, the Daybreak Blue model costs less per task than other leading models, including Grok 4.7 (xhigh) at $11.67. Compared with the publicly available GPT-6 Sol, it made its largest gains on CyberGym-E2E, the benchmark where Artificial Analysis observed the most safety refusals. The organization said it will continue adding both publicly available and trusted-access models to the index.
