Legatics, a transaction management platform, has joined Harvey's Connector Library, which the companies describe as creating a unified deal experience for lawyers. Legatics CEO Anthony Seale explained the integration in an Artificial Lawyer interview. Legatics said it holds the live state of a deal, including what is outstanding, who owes it, what has been signed and what changed that morning, which it describes as the context law firms need for more informed drafting, research and analysis in Harvey.

Harvey is described as the place where many lawyers start their work, reviewing, drafting and analysing documents. The Legatics connector, built on the Legatics MCP server, delivers deal context directly from the deal record, whether the question concerns a single matter or the firm's transactions as a whole. Harvey users can query real matter data held in Legatics, including parties and deal facts, the status of checklists and trackers, and binders and data room contents. This works for a single deal or across many at once. Answers come from Legatics as the source of truth rather than a static export.

Rob MacAdam, Chief Product & Strategy Officer at Legatics, said the partnership came from mutual customers who asked Harvey for a Legatics connection before the two companies began talking. Nate Schlein, Head of Product Business Development at Harvey, said connecting the Legatics MCP server with Harvey means a lawyer gets an answer grounded in the current state of a deal, with the firm's own permissions intact.
