Legora Builds Legal AI Integration Ecosystem
- •Legora connects its legal AI platform to an ecosystem of more than 30 companies.
- •Integrations link document systems, search, data rooms, billing, contracts, productivity apps and document automation.
- •Legora says existing permissions and firm controls carry through its integrations to support end-to-end legal work.
Legora is expanding its legal AI platform’s integration ecosystem to more than 30 companies, connecting external data and work products to its agentic capabilities. The integrations are intended to let lawyers handle work within Legora while linking it to systems they already use. Legora says the ecosystem is designed to let legal teams complete work from start to finish rather than one task at a time.
The expansion responds to what Artificial Lawyer calls a “battle for centrality”: OpenAI and Google are among the large AI companies seeking lawyers’ attention with legal offerings. The article describes the contest as a race to become the digital workspace where lawyers spend most of their time. Platforms that do not become central may remain at the edge and connect into another company’s environment, it says.
Legora says its integrations address gaps in cross-platform work, which has often required downloading and uploading files outside the permissions governing them, then joining separate tasks across systems. The ecosystem connects document repositories including iManage, NetDocuments, SharePoint, Box and Google Drive; enterprise search through DeepJudge and Model Context Protocol (a standard for connecting AI applications to external tools and data); and virtual data rooms from Datasite, SS&C Intralinks and DiliTrust. Lawyers can search and edit matter documents in Legora and save versions to the original system, while deal teams can review data rooms and retain their permissions.
Other connections cover Everlaw for eDiscovery, Intapp Walls for AI and iManage Security Policy Manager for confidentiality controls, plus Intapp Time and Laurel for time capture and billing. Contract tools include DocuSign, Ironclad, Sirion, Agiloft, Conga and DiliTrust. Productivity connections span Microsoft Copilot, Outlook, Teams, Slack, Gmail, Google Docs and Calendar, Salesforce and LawVu. Avvoka and Document Drafter support document automation using firms’ approved templates and questionnaires.
Legora Chief Product Officer Bryan Tsao said that moving between systems reduces the time saved by AI and that the integrations put customers’ existing knowledge and controls to work in Legora. He called the ecosystem the foundation for AI that completes legal work end to end. The company’s integrations also carry existing access restrictions into what Legora can retrieve, and time data can flow back to firms to show how lawyers use the platform and the value they realize.
