LG Unveils Multi V 7 AI Air Conditioner
  • •LG Electronics debuted the commercial Multi V 7 system air conditioner at HARFKO 2026.
  • •Its dual AI combines on-device and cloud AI for operating recommendations, noise control, and fault prediction.
  • •The exhibition featured residential climate systems and air- and liquid-cooling equipment for AI data centers.

LG Electronics unveiled its large-capacity commercial system air conditioner, the LG Multi V 7, for the first time at HARFKO 2026, which opened on the 21st at KINTEX in Ilsan. The product features “Dual AI,” combining on-device AI (AI that runs and learns on the device) that learns usage patterns in real time with cloud AI that optimizes operating strategies.

Multi V 7 analyzes virtual operating scenarios with AI and recommends operating cycles that balance comfort and energy efficiency. It also supports noise control and fault prediction diagnostics. LG said the unit uses a SpinX compressor with a next-generation structure and two-way oil supply technology, improving heating and cooling performance and energy efficiency.

At the exhibition, LG also presented climate-control products for different spaces. For homes, it proposed heat-pump-based integrated heating, cooling, and hot-water solutions, along with an air-quality management system linked to home appliances. For AI data centers, it displayed air-cooling equipment such as chillers and fan wall units (FWUs), liquid-cooling components such as coolant distribution units (CDUs) and cold plates, and an immersion-cooling tank under development (cooling equipment that submerges components in liquid).

Lee Jae-seong, president of LG Electronics’ ES Business Division, said the company would expand its solutions across areas requiring cooling, from homes to commercial and industrial facilities and AI data centers. The exhibition was part of LG’s participation in HARFKO 2026. The report described improved heating and cooling performance and energy efficiency but gave no specific figures or launch schedule.
