VCI Global Limited said on October 6, 2026, that its subsidiary V Gallant Limited had launched VGAIN Compute, a live platform where users can buy AI tokens to access large language models (AI systems that generate text and other outputs), including OpenAI GPT models associated with ChatGPT, Kimi, Meta Llama and Qwen. The Kuala Lumpur-based company said the service is intended for content generation, coding, research, business applications and workflow automation. The launch gives V Gallant a customer-facing AI service alongside VCI Global’s investments in AI infrastructure and GPU computing.

VCI Global said its strategy combines computing infrastructure with platforms that connect computing capacity to customers. VGAIN Compute offers usage-based access, with users purchasing tokens to use supported models. V Gallant expects to assess adding more models, enterprise-focused capabilities and support for more complex AI workloads. The platform is also designed for developers and businesses exploring agentic AI applications, in which models execute tasks, coordinate processes and automate workflows. Those uses can create recurring demand for AI inference, the computing process that produces model responses and outputs.

Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman Victor Hoo said the platform establishes a customer-facing route to sell access to AI models while the company expands its computing capabilities. VCI Global said it plans to focus on growing the model catalogue and platform adoption, developing enterprise use cases, and matching additional computing capacity to customer requirements. It cited AI inference, enterprise automation, agentic AI and other compute-intensive workloads as areas of potential opportunity; infrastructure expansion, it said, will depend on customer demand, hardware availability and project economics.

VCI Global is listed on Nasdaq under the ticker VCIG. The company describes itself as an AI-native operating platform whose subsidiaries, affiliates and portfolio companies use centralized AI, data, governance and capital allocation systems. Its stated areas of exposure include advisory, AI and digital infrastructure, digital assets, energy, automotive and consumer sectors. The company’s announcement also cautioned that forward-looking statements carry risks and uncertainties, including whether customers accept new products, whether the company can achieve profitable operations, competitive products and pricing, and general economic conditions.
