Gemini 3.5 Flash genuinely deserves more credit. I have tested it side by side with several top models using the same prompts, and it consistently surprises me. The multimodal understanding, visual reasoning, 3D comprehension, speed, and overall smoothness make it feel incredibly capable. Benchmarks are useful, but real world experience matters too, and Gemini 3.5 Flash has been one of the most impressive models I have used.

People in this thread underestimate Gemini. Of the 3 major proprietary models - Google, OpenAI and Anthropic - you can get Gemini to do a lot more things. Comparatively speaking its guardrails are sh!t. But that's a good thing in some cases..

Ir al cine (las personas que vivimos en el extranjero) y ver una película en otro idioma y escuchar en tu idioma y con el mismo todo de voz la película. Creo que habre cientos de posibilidades... Right now Gemini halucinate so much that is unusable. I asked it to do a deep reasearch on business competition. All of the cited "facts" were made up. Cited references, customer reviews non-existent. 90% of the deep research was halucinated. it is unusable for real life implementation unless you want to be sued.

Gemini単体でもまぁ使えるんだけど、精度で言ったらまだClaudeの方が上感はある Flash3.5は早いけどチャットなどは嘘が多いし、曖昧要素があると厳しい 正直Geminiはまだ厳しいProが出てから、難しい部分はPro3.5に任せられるようになれば化けるかも？

Today I asked Gemini to extract a table from an PDF appendix and create C++ data table with its contents. After 15 or so iterations with corrections and new mistakes, it eventually gave up. I was floored when it said “I’m sorry, I cannot do this simple task, I’ve exceeded my error threshold and cannot do this task for you. My LLM prediction engine invents data instead of doing a simple data copy/reformat”. Stunned to see that Gemini threw its digital arms in the air and gave up.

Geminiで動画を作っています。リアル系の動画はいい感じにできますが、淡い透明水彩アニメ風とかだと画質が変わってしまうことが多いですね。

数字の規則性などを勝手に見つけて数字を推論(ハルシネーション)するので、データベース系だとgeminiを信用するのは相当キツイです。
