Advanced Coding and Reasoning Capabilities
Users celebrate the model's nuanced understanding of complex code and architecture, often preferring its logical flow over competitors for high-stakes development.
While developers celebrate Opus 4.7's advanced coding logic and visual design improvements, they are sharply critical of its massive token consumption and specific performance regressions in long-context retrieval tasks.
Users celebrate the model's nuanced understanding of complex code and architecture, often preferring its logical flow over competitors for high-stakes development.
The ability to generate plausible game physics and complex visual assets receives praise, positioning the model as a strong tool for designers.
Widespread frustration exists over the aggressive token usage and high costs, with many reporting that Pro plans are exhausted far too quickly.
Significant concerns are raised regarding model degradation in long-context retrieval and UI bugs that cause the interface to hang or fail.
WHOOOOOO. Time for more purple gradient UI's..........
Google Stitch Claude Design Someone is hunting Figma CEO
I’m honestly hoping 4.7 is a model focused more on token and compute efficiency without being a downgrade in output
Been playing with it for a few hours, no complaints. It's completed all the tasks I've asked it to do.
Im guessing it will be something like an interactive UI editor that you can prompt to create one from scratch and then easily edit it the way you want by clicking/selecting an Item or area and telling the model what to change there , drag and drop objects etc.
It's been sounding like GPT 5.5 is going to be more like Mythos than Opus 4.7. Crazy to think about.
Vaibhav Sisinty's video on Claude Opus 4.7 - 8 days ago literally says: "ChatGPT is done, I am NEVER going back"
Using Claude to control everything is not the best way to do it. The best is use Claude as a administrator or a specialist. You can construct some Python script to do the actions. Buy, Sell, the strategy itself and the main logic. With that you can create a closed box with all security needed to protect your trading. Claude will act as an control manager, collecting all the information, enrich, take the decisions and using the scripts to manage all control. This is a better and work solution. You can still use DB or DuckBD. Nate, this is an amazing project. Thanks for sharing that.
This is awesome, I told it to deploy container to my Proxmox server, and also implemented obsidian. Let's see how good this will get in the next few weeks.
Ohh man. The engineers at Anthropic are just built of something else.

I am experiencing this exactly. Big sad. A month ago I felt like I had an assistant and now I feel like I have a new engineer that has adhd and has to be trained at every step of the process and gets distracted often. Now, it is wasteful and not efficient.
I'm very excited that 4.7 might be as capable as 4.6 was two weeks ago.
There's a gazillion post that explains why it mentions the wrong model.
Antrophic seems to miss one crucial point: no matter how advanced their models become, they’ll remain underused as long as the limitation issue isn’t addressed
Instruction following should be the base of this, or on top of this, not in it like it's a similar metric to the others. What good a better ability in writing or software has, when it does not follow your instructions and just goes along with whatever it thinks the context is?
What I find interesting is it accepts failure after a few tries, and does not even want to try anymore. Basically it apologizes and takes off. What the fuck... I am slowly slipping into insanity because of this shit.
Or them just silently switching to sonnet on the backend to save compute with general conversation
Better us Sonnet 4.6 High Reasoning then instead of that nerfed OPUS 4.6
I've been seeing a lot of reports on my timeline about how 4.7 is a regression from 4.6, especially on the website, where they've implemented adaptive reasoning like OpenAI and users don't understand the difference between Instant vs Thinking (but they are having trouble figuring out how to *get* 4.7 to think at all)
Those sons of bitches are actually using everything they pay for!
