Solar Decide

Solar Decide is Upstage’s AI model for making decisions rather than writing text. It reads the information you provide and returns a predefined choice, a yes/no probability, or a score with probability information. This makes it useful for routing customer inquiries, checking whether an AI action should be allowed, and identifying information worth remembering from a conversation.

Built on Solar Mini 4, it combines strong Korean-language understanding with support for long documents. Instead of generating text token by token, it makes decisions in a single forward pass, a design intended to reduce the time and cost of repetitive classification and verification. It is available through OpenRouter, with no output-token charges. It also shares Jev’s request format, making it easier to integrate into services already using that decision model.
