Solar Decide Flash

Solar Decide Flash is a faster version of Upstage's decision-only AI, Solar Decide: instead of writing text, it returns a choice, a yes/no answer, or a score along with a probability. It is described as built on Solar Mini 4 and aimed at routing, classifying and catching policy violations. In our real-time game tests the original Solar Decide answered too slowly to return the ball in Pong at all, while this version answered in time, played the same game properly and, with enough time, won nearly every Pong match. It did poorly in Tetris, and it was clearly less accurate than Solar Decide on our Korean and Japanese judgment tests. Answers are given as single letters, so one question can offer at most twenty-six options, and the API is still in beta, so its request format may change. Upstage's own docs do not describe this version yet, so this summary follows the OpenRouter listing; the weights are not public.
